a concert...and an after party

Tuesday night Gilbert High had its first choir concert of the year and I had another "senior moment"....I  pulled it together quickly though, because right after the concert, sixty five kids showed up at our house for the "after party". You know how a lot of kids give "teenagers" a bad name? Well, the teenagers that showed up at my house give em' a good one....

So, they came, and they ate, and they ate some more, and then....they sang....just because they wanted to.... and I thought about choices, and how these kids are making good ones, just because they want to...and I felt lucky to be the mom of one of those good kids.
