A midwest girl who ended up in the desert and embarked on this journey called "motherhood". Why do I blog? To journal, to vent, to share, to heal, to gain introspection, to work on my photograpy, and hopefully inspire someone else from time to time.
I am incredibly flawed in about a billion ways, and I believe that there are no perfect parents, perfect marriages, or perfect lives. I also believe that was part of the plan. A lot of times I'm just making it up as I go, but that's okay.
A few more things about me: I always get teary-eyed when I'm in a public place and they play the national anthem. I have an addiction to hummus (the sabra red pepper kind). As a dirty blonde, I think bleach was one of the best things ever invented and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm at times crazy ocd (but you should see what I can get done when it's in full swing). I have a very tender heart (once you get past my stubbornness). My faith in God and His plan motivates every decision I make. AND....I believe being a mom is the single most important work I will ever do here on Earth.
